T-SHIRTS FOR SALE et. al.
Dear Friends,
A lot of you have expressed interest in the hand-made t-shirts created by my friend, the talented artist Stuart Allen Walker. Stu took a photo from the now-infamous climax of CHEAP THRILLS, hand cut a stencil from that and hand-painted each shirt from that stencil. And now he wants to do it for YOU!

Here’s the deal: CHEAP THRILLS did not have a huge marketing campaign. Although Drafthouse Films was firmly behind the movie and did what they could, they are a small company with a limited budget. The fact that you, the fans, found the movie and have embraced means the world to us all. It is becoming a cult classic and I have never felt so much love for my work.
In order to get the word out during the film’s theatrical release, I traveled across the country promoting the movie in person, hired a personal publicist who arranged interviews, Q&A’s after screenings, personal appearances(like the Marc Maron WTF podcast you all loved and enjoyed), etc. etc. I had an amazing time. CHEAP THRILLS is the piece of work in my life of which I am most proud. I’d take a bullet for it(figuratively. Please don’t shoot me, psychos). But I find myself now in a great deal of personal debt. I put my money where my mouth is because I believe in the film and I wanted as many people to see it as possible. But it’s quite frankly money I don’t have.
Enter the incredibly talented Stuart Allen Walker and his one-of-a-kind, personally designed shirts. Each one tailored made for you! We started making the shirts on v-neck tees and we personally prefer that but will make the shirts available on regular crewneck shirts as well. Stu will personally hand paint each one.
These will be limited editions, made-to-order and beautiful. The shirts are high quality Hanes white t-shirts. The cost of $30.00 includes Stu’s considerable time in making the shirts, the cost of materials and shipping. The rest of the money will go towards paying off my debt in promoting CHEAP THRILLS. I could ask you to borrow the money but you should get something cool for it, no? So there it is.
Anyone interested in buying one of these gorgeous shirts should reply to this post or DM me here. We will get a headcount and get to work and start shipping as soon as we possibly can. We are in the midst of figuring out payment delivery systems etc. so please bear with us. I don’t estimate it will take long.
As you must know, I am very busy and so is Stu, but we really want to do this, you REALLY want these shirts, and I’d like to get at least part of this pesky money monkey off of my back.
So that’s it: get a cool shirt with my iconic visage and help a brotha out. What could be more fun and altruistic for you? Nothing, I say. NOTHING!
Peace out. Talk to you soon.
